Ivana Alawi gave away 8,000 food packs with P150 each as an act of gratitude for gaining 15 million YouTube subscribers by handing out a total of P1.2 million in cash.

In a video posted on her YouTube channel yesterday, August 7, the actress-vlogger who hit the milestone last February explained that she waited to celebrate until she moved into her new home because she wanted it to be the beginning of a “good start.”

The food packs, which included rice, canned goods, Korean rice cake snacks, and soap bars from her skincare line, were made by Ivana, her family—Fatima, Hash, and Amira—and her housekeepers. Ivana gave out the goods along with a serving of champorado.

Ivana’s initial goal was to distribute 15,000 packs, but due to food preparation issues, they could only produce 8,000. She continued by thanking her audience and emphasizing that this was how she was repaying them for all of their support.

Ivana stated, “Sobrang thank you sa inyo for watching us, supporting, loving and subscribing to us,”

“Sobrang blessed ako na nandyan kayo and super ibabalik namin lahat ng blessings na ibinibigay niyo sa amin, and also the love and support na ibinibigay niyo sa pamilya ko.”

Ivana, on the other hand, spent close to P300,000 in May when she went on a shopping spree with her family, employees, and an unidentified stranger as part of the “buying everything you can carry” challenge. She also fulfilled the wish of her housekeeper by paying for a nose job at the practice of well-known plastic surgeon Vicki Belo.
