Smart Communications, a local carrier, has announced a new relationship with TinyTAN, a collection of animated characters developed by the seven members of Korean pop sensations BTS.

The telecom has created the Smart SIM TinyTAN Edition as part of the collaboration, which includes one character card in each pack.

“In the same way that we enable fans to connect with their favorite idols through mobile technology, we always go the extra mile in empowering our subscribers to live more and make the most of their passions,” stated Francis E. Flores, SVP and Head of Consumer Business Group – Individual at Smart.

“Our special collaboration with TinyTAN is in line with our efforts to go beyond providing our subscribers with world-class connectivity but also delighting them with special lifestyle experiences and rewards,” he said.

TinyTAN debuted in 2019 and is now licensed by BigHit Music, a subsidiary of the worldwide entertainment firm Hybe Co., Ltd.

The name is derived from Bangtan Sonyeondan, which is a transcription of BTS’s Korean name.

Each TinyTAN character embodies the characteristics of a BTS member while following a unique story inside the TinyTAN universe.

By purchasing a 5G-ready SIM pack, fans may acquire a total of eight limited edition TinyTAN character cards.
