This is related to Ruffa and KaladKaren’s statement as judges of the “Miss Q and A” segment of It’s Showtime on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
The two daily finalists answered the play time question in the final round of the gay pageant: “Kung masipag ang mga langgam, bakit walang napapabalitang umasensong langgam?”
Two contestants were tested to see who could provide a reasonable response.
Ruffa agreed with one of the contestants who stated that “unity” is required to advance.
Ruffa said, “Unity kasi yun talaga ang kailangan natin ngayon, especially yung mga taong nag-aaway-away laging nagba-bash-bash.”
Kaladkaren told the competitors: “Yung mga langgam, parang mga tao. Yung mahihirap nating mga kababayan kahit gaano sila kahirap, nagtatrabaho, hindi sila umaasenso because of bad systems, because of so many things na social issues na nao-oppress sila.”
Some netizens confessed and turned Ruffa and KaladKaren’s statements into quote cards, causing the two to trend on Twitter from yesterday to today.
