Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up, will not only carry dreams and courage in the national pageant’s grand coronation on July 31, 2022, at the Araneta Coliseum.

Herlene revealed the lucky charms she received during her beauty pageant journey in a TikTok video posted on August 2.

“Hi, I’m your Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up,” Herlene begins the video by displaying a red pouch.

The 22-year-old beauty queen carried the red pouch while competing in Miss Pilipinas.

It includes a crucifix, rosary, and a small Sto. Nio

Herlene believes it brings good luck because it was all blessed.

“May basbas ‘yan, kaya dinala ko dahil suwerte ‘yan.”

Aside from these, there’s money folded up and a piece of paper with a picture of his late grandmother Bireng on it.

He stated, “Habang lumalaban ako, kasama ko si Nanay, tapos pinag-pray ko, ‘Nanay, kasama mo naman si Lord, sabihin mo sa Kanya ibigay yung crown.'”

She added, “Kaya binigyan tayong crown!”

Herlene competed in her first national pageant, Binibining Pilipinas 2022.

In addition to being the first runner-up, he received the most special awards—8 out of 25.
