‘Help us superheroes,’ Dyesebel and Lastikman rush to save Darna on ‘Showtime.’

“Tulungan ng mga superheroes.”

On Monday, Vhong Navarro responded to Jane de Leon by thanking him, Anne Curtis, and Jhong Hilario for quickly helping her up after she fell during a live episode of “It’s Showtime.”

De Leon joined the noontime show’s regulars in the opening game, “Vest in Spelling,” which requires players to line up and form words using the letters they’re wearing under time constraints.

De Leon, who was wearing high heels, tripped and fell on the ground as she rushed in to help complete the word “peso.” Navarro, Curtis, and Hilario were the closest to her and helped her get back up. Curtis was also seen holding de Leon’s skirt in place as the latter stood up.

After they offered to have her checked by medics, De Leon assured the hosts and staff that she was unharmed and continued with the game. (Watch the video below at 34:40.)

She was later seen as one of the guest judges on “Miss Q&A.” Before commenting on the contestants, de Leon thanked Navarro, Curtis, and Hilario, who were also on stage as co-hosts of the pageant segment.

“Gusto ko magpasalamat sa inyong tatlo [sa pagtulong] noong natumba ako,” Jane said.

“Naalala ko, si Kuya Vhong si Lastikman, si Ate Anne si Dyesebel. Siyempre si Alakdan nandito rin.”

De Leon was referring to Navarro and Curtis’s comic characters in their respective series, “Lastikman” in 2007 and “Dyesebel” in 2014. She will now co-star with the two veteran actors in an ABS-CBN adaptation of a Mars Ravelo character.

Meanwhile, Alakdan was Hilario’s action-star portrayal in the recently concluded “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” which also featured de Leon as a former guest star.

“Wala ‘yun, Jane. Tulungan lang tayong mga superhero,” Vhong said.

“Ang importante, Jane, okay ka!” Jhong added.

De Leon then invited viewers to watch the “Mars Ravelo’s Darna” Monday night premiere on TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, CineMo, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.

“Mars Ravelo’s Darna,” directed by acclaimed filmmaker Chito S. Roo and starring Avel Sunpongco and Benedict Mique, also stars Iza Calzado as the first Darna and Narda’s mother, Leonor, Janella Salvador as Valentina, Zaijian Jaranilla as Ding, and Joshua Garcia as a cop named Brian.
