The Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival Awards winners have already been revealed.
Finally, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, hosted the 18th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival Awards. Actress Max Eigenmann, who won Best Actress at the ceremony on August 14, was one of the big winners.
The movie “The Baseball Player,” which was acclaimed for “its sheer poignancy and quiet power, for its subtle but trenchant storytelling, and for its penetrating take on the Mindanao conflict and the sad wreckage it has made of young, innocent lives” was one of the big winners.
