Willie Revillame, a famous TV personality, discussed competition amongst noontime programs in the Philippines.

He was questioned if his variety program would return to the noontime slot knowing that he has signed a contract with Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS).

Willie Revillame stated in an interview based on the PEP report that they are currently evaluating this.

It is unclear if his show will air during the noontime or primetime.

Right now, inaayos pa namin ni Ms. Beth. Pinag-aaralan namin ano yung mas magiging maganda sa noontime or prime time,” the seasoned presenter explained.

He further mentioned that they are currently negotiating with artists and talent management agencies.

His only clear knowledge for now is that his variety program will appear on AMBS.

Willie acknowledged that he has experienced strong competition amongst noontime shows.

“Mahirap talagang makipag-compete sa mga noontime show, pinagdaanan ko lahat iyan. Sino ilalagay mong host, sinong artista, anong concept. Kailangan mo ng writers, pero lahat ng ito, hopefully, awa ng Panginoong Diyos, e, mai-aayos natin,” he remarked.

They are now also developing new program concepts. AMBS will have a morning show for moms before the noontime program, he claimed.
Kuya Wil also mentioned that they have already spoken with certain artists, but they cannot share their names for the time being because nothing has been finalized.

Willie Revillame stated that he and AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino plan the network’s program, which is owned by business billionaire Manny Villar.

Kuya Wil likewise stated that they will seek the chairman’s approval for the programming, but were told, “Kayo nakakaalam niyan, e.”
