Sarah Geronimo Allegedly Turned Down P800-M Proposal From GMA-7

Sarah Geronimo, a popstar royalty, reportedly turned down a P800 million proposal from GMA-7.

Speculation that Sarah will comeback to the Kapuso network began to spread last month. It was also reported that her husband, actor Matteo Guidicelli, was discussing a network transfer with GMA.

Furthermore, a source close to Sarah Geronimo disputed in an earlier story that the singer-actress is likely to shift to GMA. Sarah’s talent management company, Viva Artist Agency, has stated that the Popstar Royalty would comeback to Kapamilya Sunday musical variety show Asap Natin ‘To.

Unfortunately, no teaser for the forthcoming return of the Popstar Royalty has been issued by the show.

According to a recent post on Balita.net.ph, Sarah’s assistant revealed that the star was given a contract for P600 million to P800 million. This contract is only valid for five years.

It was also stated that it is the greatest amount of contract that GMA-7 has given in its history. Despite the large sum, it was reported that the Kapuso network was unable to persuade Sarah Geronimo to transfer.

The Popstar Royalty has not yet commented on this topic as of this writing.
