Phillip Lazaro Stand-Up Comedian and Director has Died at the Age of 56

Phillip Lazaro, a veteran stand-up comedian and television and live events director, has died.

On Monday, July 11, close friends, coworkers, and family members shared their proper goodbye messages to Lazaro on their social media accounts.

“Tito Phillip Lazaro, Even though we know it is a part of life, we are never prepared to say goodbye forever. Our hearts are heavy today because we have lost someone so special, but we also celebrate your life. Rest In Peace,” Lazaro’s niece Armarie Saavedra Cruz-Go posted on Facebook.

Lazaro appeared as a supporting actor in films such as “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” and “Wanted Perfect Mother.”

He has also co-directed a game show and appeared in a teleserye.

On June 12, Lazaro celebrated his 51st birthday.

His funeral arrangements will be announced soon.
