Karla Estrada says goodbye to “Magandang Buhay” after hosting it for more than five years.
The morning of ABS-CBN’s show on Friday was filled with both pleasure and sadness.
“Ang aking puIot of the day, let me quote the letter of St. Paul to Timothy: ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race and I have kept my faith.’ It has always been from ambition to mission.
“I really want to say thank you to all the staff and crew ng ‘Magandang Buhay.’ Salamat sa tawanan at iyakan natin. Thank you very much. Maraming, maraming salamat. Puwede niyo akong katokin any time, tawagan any time,” Karla added.
Estrada also expressed gratitude to co-hosts Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros.
That’s why I know I have prayed that this time again we will see each other, thank you,” Karla stated.
Magdangal and Cantiveros also spoke about the next stage that Estrada would go through during the program.
Cantiveros and Magdangal are pleased and glad to see Estrada pursuing what she enjoys.
Estrada’s close friends, Negi and KaladKaren, also visited the studio and attested to the actress’ helpfulness.
Magui and Carmella Estrada, Estrada’s children, also attended and offered some personal information about their mother. Estrada’s children said that no matter what happened, they would support their mother, whom they described as a very helpful person.
Estrada also praised her children, headed by Daniel Padilla, for their unwavering support in all of her life decisions.
Thank you very much, anak, Daniel,” she said.
Estrada temporarily quit “Magandang Buhay” when she began campaigning for a party-list that won the last election.
