Hours before President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s first State of the Nation Address yesterday, actress Heart Evangelista made her red carpet entrance.

The wife of re-elected senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero dressed in her beloved all-white Terno, created by her friend and longtime partner Mark Bumgarner, for her Instagram account.

She referred to her simple ensemble, which was complemented by a matching choker necklace made of white pearls and a white Hermes Kelly Mini bag, as “modern day Filipina.”

She wore a stack of gold, white gold, and red bracelets to part ways the all-white look and make it a little less bridal.

Heart’s SONA Terno displays some of her décolletage and shoulder bones, much like the customized white gown Bumgarner also created for her and which she dressed to the Chaumet’s Paris gala that she went with Korean superstar Song Hye Kyo.

With pouty nude pink lips, straightened hair with side bangs and waves on the corners, and on-trend eyelashes, Heart completed her appearance.
