Kryz Uy and Slater Young were relieved when their seven-week-old baby Sevi’s inguinal hernia surgery went well.

Yesterday, July 19, the YouTuber updated followers on the condition of her kid, whom she referred to as a “little fighter,” on her Instagram page. Uy appeared in the hospital with Young and Sevi, where the baby was undergoing surgery.

“Thank you Lord and all of Sevi’s doctors and caregivers for the successful surgery and to the skyfam for the prayers and well-wishes,” she said. “Our brave little boy is recovering well.”

Fellow celebs Katarina Rodriguez and Karen Davila expressed their condolences to the family and hoped for Sevi’s speedy recovery in the comments section.

Uy previously discussed her son’s inguinal hernia in a vlog, claiming she and Young were “taken off guard” since they assumed Sevi was a healthy baby. Despite the prognosis, Uy expressed gratitude for the opportunity to spend time with her children.

The couple had Sevi, their second kid, in May of this year and Scottie, their firstborn, in June of 2020.
