In 2020, prominent broadcaster Anthony Taberna and his wife Rossel Taberna revealed their daughter’s true condition.

In 2019, she was diagnosed with leukemia, a kind of illness that has no cure. This, however, can be controlled with treatment. She was initially diagnosed with bone marrow disease, but it was subsequently discovered that she had blood cancer.

This was their family’s most difficult trial, and the grief they felt as parents as they watched their daughter struggle was unfathomable.

They traveled to another country for her medicine past January. She was afraid, believing that her life would end at the age of 13, but after a lengthy battle, they moved to the country with her, who is now cancer-free.
