According to a source close to comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz, Moira dela Torre was previously aware that her husband, Jason Hernandez, was gay.

The curious posts of self-proclaimed Pambansang Marites Xian Gaza sparked this debate concerning Jason’s gender preference. His tweets sparked internet suspicion that Moira’s spouse is gay.

A “super reliable source” disproved the allegation that Jason is gay in a prior story. According to that source, he cheated on Moira numerous times before, with the most recent one being the tipping point because the suspected third person is a friend of the singer.

However, in a current Showbiz Update video, Ogie Diaz stated that a source close to Moira dela Torre indicated that the singer understood her husband’s gender preference from the start.

Moira recognized this because she had previously been socialized with “bading” and “paminta,” or closet gays in the entertainment industry.

“Since mag-asawa sila, binigyan pa rin daw ng chance ni Moira na magbago si Jason at baka confused lamang ito at baka ma-save pa ang kanilang marriage,” Ogie added, citing the source.

According to the source, Jason wanted to make things work out but was finally unable to do so and chose to admit to Moira in order to relieve himself of the burden. “Ewan ko if this is true ha,” Ogie Diaz added. “Si Jason at si Moira lang ang makakapagsabi nito.”

Moira dela Torre and Jason Hernandez have yet to comment more about the allegations after they separated following three years of marriage.
