Diego Loyzaga, a hunky actor, is overjoyed to have been cast as Bongbong Marcos in the film “Maid in Malacaang.”

It will be filmed by Darryl Yap, a controversial filmmaker, and will focus on the last three days of the Marcos family inside Malacaang Palace during the People Power EDSA Revolution (Feb. 23 to Feb. 25, 1986).

Direk Darryl cast Diego’s father, Cesar Montano, in the character of former President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr..

Ruffa Gutierrez will play First Lady Imelda Marcos, Cristine Reyes will play Imee Marcos, and Ella Cruz will play Irene Marcos in “Maid in Malacañang.”

Elizabeth Oropesa, Karla Estrada, and Beverly Salviejo, who are all staunch supporters of President-elect Bongbong Marcos, will portray the three housemates in this historical piece.

Diego considers playing the young Bongbong Marcos in a historical film to be a major accomplishment.

Darryl Yap, likewise, took a six-month break from filming with Viva Films and Vivamax to support Bongbong Marcos’ campaign. That is why “Maid In Malacaang” is Direk Darryl’s first project in 2022, and it will certainly stir up new controversy when it is published.
