Xian Lim, an actor-host who has also attempted directing, shared his “panawagan” with the bosses of his current home network, GMA-7.

Xian is overjoyed to be a Kapuso. He has demonstrated his adaptability throughout the years. He has the ability to sing, act, and host. In 2019, he made his directorial debut with the independent film Tabon, which aired on Cinemalaya.

The Kapuso star said in a recent interview that “Being a director is a surreal experience. Kaya nga sobra kong ina-idolize sina direk Irene [Villamor].”

Alexander Xian Cruz Lim is a professional basketball player, actor, model, singer, host, blogger, and filmmaker from the Philippines. He is well known for his performances in My Binondo Girl, The Reunion, Ina, Kapatid, Anak, Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?, and Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo? Bride for Rent, The Story of Us, and Everything About Her are a few examples.

He also said that Direk Irene penned his first film, Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo, with his lover Kim Chiu, when he was just starting out in Showbiz.

Currently, Direk Irene is Xian Lim’s director in his Kapuso series False Positive with Glaiza de Castro. “So yung fulfillment just to be able to direct a scene, to frame a shot or to write a story, nothing can beat that feeling. So parang ano lang, out-of-this-world experience,” he stated.

As a fresh Kapuso, Xian expressed interest in directing projects in addition to performing projects. With this, he jokingly aired his “panawagan” to GMA’s bosses.

“Iyon nga po, e. Ngayon po mga Kapuso, nananawagan po ako sa mga boss na nanonood. Kung naka-record man po ito, sana po ay i-share niyo rin po ito,” the actor joked.

Xian Lim went on to say  that he aspires to be given the opportunity to direct himself in a TV series. How will he do this? The actor stated that it is going to be a big challenge for him but definitely a dream come true.
