Professor Walden Bello, a former vice presidential candidate, criticized Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., the son and namesake of the deposed dictator and the Eleksyon 2022 presidential frontrunner, on Tuesday.

Bello stated in a statement that the Philippines could experience “six years of instability” under the new administration, and that a large portion of the population will “refuse to grant legitimacy and credibility to the rule of a family of thieves.”
