The former ABS-CBN anchor Alex Santos was criticized by the talent manager and YouTuber for reportedly unprofessional and biased reporting.

Santos became a social media sensation after reporting on the daughters of Vice President Leni Robredo on NET25’s “Mata ng Agila.”

The reporter in the abovementioned show referred to Robredo’s daughters Aika, Tricia, and Jillian as “celebrity wannabes” and “kulang sa pansin,” while praising the children of presumptive President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Liza Araneta for just being quiet.

The report emphasized Robredo’s frequent posting on social media during Jillian’s graduation from New York University.

“Yung naka-move ka na kung hindi man wagi si VP Leni, pero ang mga paid trolls, di maka-move on kay VP Leni. Ano bang tawag sa mga ganitong klaseng nilalang?” stated Ogie in a tweet.

A few moments later, he retweeted a Net 25 news video clip with the caption: “Nakakalungkot no? Pati sila, di maka-get over ke Leni. Ano pa kaya ang gusto nilang mangyari?”

Furthermore, Ogie retweeted a video of Alex Santos, a former ABS-CBN news anchor who is currently a member of “Mata ng Agila.”

“Gusto kaya ni broadcaster Alex Santos itong ginagawa niya o wala lang siyang choice?” Ogie Diaz remarked.
