Clarita Carlos, a retired University of the Philippines professor, was justified by the former presidential spokesperson against her accusers. Carlos, he claims, was his favorite instructor at all of the schools he attended.

Carlos obtained a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the University of the Philippines, as well as master’s and doctorate degrees in Political Science.

Postdoctoral studies in political psychology and comparative foreign policy analysis were completed at Cornell University and the University of California, Los Angeles, respectively.

Carlos served as a consultant for the Philippine Senate from 1988 until 1998.

Carlos is a former political science professor at the University of the Philippines.

She was also President of the National Defense College of the Philippines from 1998 to October 2001.

Carlos has given lectures at the National Defense University and the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats in the United States.

She is a nationally known pioneer in Political Psychology.

She has worked as a consultant for the Local Government Development Foundation since 1993.

She is being terminated, however, due to her apparent support for presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

As a result, Harry Roque felt obligated to protect her from criticisms.

However, Clarita Carlos was disappointed to find that she had been removed from the department’s register of permanent faculty members, where she had worked for more than five decades.
