Presumptive President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is presently doing the rounds on social media following the release of a video showing him at an Australian market.
In an interview, his wife, Atty. Liza Araneta-Marcos described part of what the next president has been doing to on their family holiday to Australia.
Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., often known as Bongbong Marcos or BBM, is a Filipino politician and the country’s presumptive president-elect. From 2010 through 2016, he served as a senator.
Marcos is seen carrying a box, which most likely includes the products they purchased at the local market.
Marcos Jr. is accompanied in his buying binge by his wife and, of course, his son Vinny Marcos.
At one point, Mrs. Marcos quipped: “Hello nandito po si Bongbong Marcos ‘yung diktador.”
To which he said: “Diktador ba? O dalhin mo to.”
Netizens reacted differently to his gesture.
Here are some netizens’ reactions:
“Aww what a simple and down to earth family. Humility at its finest. Yan ang Presidente namin, he leads by example,” remarked one Barbs Lopez.
“Oh baka gagawin na naman itong issue ng kabilang parlor ha,” Irene Elera stated.
Marcos Jr. may be seen taking a selfie with several Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) in Australia at the conclusion of the video.
Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is widely expected to be the next President of the Republic of the Philippines, having won the election with more than 31 million votes.
He beat Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Manny Pacquiao, who both received nearly 14 million votes and 3 million votes.
The Marcos family will return to the nation next week.
