Bayani Agbayani Defends  Robin Padilla Against Critics “Tulungan po Natin Sila”

After topping the Senate campaign, the entertainer defended Senator-elect Robin Padilla against his critics. Robin, a relative newcomer, dominated the senate election with nearly 26 million votes.

Bayani Agbayani is a Filipino comedian, actor, singer, and presenter. Filipinos who have watched his comedy programs and movies are familiar with his name. After 15 years at ABS-CBN, he shuttled between his old home studio, GMA Network, and TV5 from 2008 to 2014, before returning to ABS-CBN.

Bayani Agbayani Recalls Hardships to Support Himself Finish His Studies

Bayani began his entertainment career as a host on the now-defunct GMA-7 show “SST: Salo-Salo Together,” and he currently hosts the noontime show Lunch Out Loud (LOL). He has appeared in several ABS-CBN and TV5 programs.

In an interview, the comedian supported the senator-elect against his opponents.

“Hindi po ito labanan ng talino, labanan po ito ng puso, political will, at pagtulong sa tao,” Bayani stated.

“Sa mga kumukuwestiyon, hayaan po niyong magtrabaho lahat ng nanalo, tulungan po natin sila dahil ito po ay para sa ating bansa,” he continued.

Robinhood Ferdinand “Robin” Cario Padilla is a Filipino politician, film actor, screenwriter, producer, and director. He is recognized in Philippine cinema as the “Bad Boy” for playing anti-hero protagonist gangster roles in films such as Anak ni Baby Ama, Grease Gun Gang, Bad Boy, and Bad Boy 2.

He’s also known as the “Prince of Action” in Philippine movies. Padilla has also appeared in television shows such as Basta’t Kasama Kita, Asian Treasures, Joaquin Bordado, Totoy Bato, Guns and Roses, and Toda Max.

Bayani is one of the celebrity host of the UniTeam’s campaign rallies (Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte). Robin became the party’s endorsed candidate.
