After a demonstration against the impending declaration of probable president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, who purportedly won the “maruming” 2022 elections, some rallyists and PNP officials were shot by water canons and were hurt.

The League of Filipino Students (LFS) reported On wednesday that “At least 10 injured individuals are injured and in need of medical assistance after the Philippine National Police attempted to disperse a peaceful protest at the Commission on Human Rights today.”

“[LFS] raises alarms and condemns the violent attempt of the Philippine National Police to disperse the peaceful assembly at the Commission on Human Rights to reject the fraudulent win of the Marcos-Duterte tandem in the 2022 national elections.”

The rallyists and police can be seen clutching in the images and videos, the latter with riot shields and batons. Later, a fire engine arrived and bombarded the critics of the water cannon.
