Aubrey Miles and Troy Montero described their first encounter. Initially, the actress believed that the actor disliked her. Troy said in an exclusive interview that he initially revealed his affection on Aubrey during Kris Aquino’s televised interview with him.

“I was trying not to say it sa live kasi we don’t know each other,”  the actor explained. Troy even had the opportunity to picture with Aubrey that day because the actress co-hosted the following show. Troy stated that he went to Aubrey’s dressing room to snap a photograph. “I was trying not to say it sa live kasi we don’t know each other,”  the actor explained. “I still have it.”

The next time they met, Troy made it feasible for them to be a couple as guests on a noontime show. In the show, they were both able to do a swing dance. According to Aubrey, she realized Troy wasn’t flirting with her, so she assumed he didn’t like her.

“Hindi siya nagpi-flirt, ah. Kasi may mga males na magpi-flirt sila sa tingin at sa hawak. Siya hindi. Akala mo lang kaibigan lang. Akala mo lang kaibigan lang. Akala ko nga hindi niya ako gusto,” said the actress.

As a result, he appeared to be skeptical of Troy’s remarks on Kris’ show.

“Ako naman, parang, ‘Okay. Ako lang ba yung nagpapa-cute?'” Aubrey said. “At first, I thought, ‘Okay, ako lang ba yung nagpapa-cute?'”

Eventually, Troy allegedly requested Aubrey’s phone number and gave her a bouquet. “The intention was there,” Troy added. According to Aubrey, Troy sought her for six or seven months before they married.

“But now it seems like it’s been a long time,” said the actress. After seven months of dating, Troy and Aubrey have now been in an 18-year relationship, got engaged last month. Aubrey and Troy already have two children, Hunter and Rocket, while Audrey has a baby from a former relationship.
