The Miss Universe Philippines organization has revealed the 32 finalists who will compete in the much-anticipated national competition in 2022.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere of France, and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow of South Africa will host the big coronation night on April 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Miss Universe PH organization unveiled the lucky finalists yesterday in a film that depicted the applicants’ hardships and tribulations.
Moreover, of the 50 ladies that aspired to participate on the Miss Universe PH stage in 2022, 32 finalists have been chosen to compete on the coronation night.
The hopefuls faced difficulties such as the swimsuit bounce, fashion and runway, and video filming.
And there was an online campaign using the Kumu livestreaming platform, with two of the contenders guaranteed to make it to the finals. Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee, Miss Earth Philippines 2018 Celeste Cortesi, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 3rd runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, and Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 Katrina Llegado were among those that advanced to the Final 32.
