Carmi Martin, a veteran character actor, remembered a bizarre incident in which she smacked a foreigner. Carmi recalled a similar event that occurred to her after Hollywood actor Will Smith’s notorious slapping of Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards (Oscars).

According to Carmi Martin’s narrative, she had previously been slapped, but the setting was different and the teleserye-like scenario took place inside a restaurant. The seasoned actress revealed the previous episode of “Mars Pa More,” which a tour guide supposedly taught her fellow foreign tourists.

“Lumapit sa table ko yung tour guide. Sinabi nga foreigner ganyan-ganyan, touring the Philippines and he would like to take a picture with you,” simulang kuwento ni Carmi.

“Ah, yeah, sure.” he added, adding that he agreed and willingly stood up for the photograph.

And the following image was shocking—Carmi was stunned when the tourist sat in her chair, drew her close, and placed her on his lap.

I was severely shocked! “Who gave you the right to do that?” I asked the actress. The restaurant workers promptly phoned the cops and had the foreigner removed. Carmi is also accused of approaching the tour guide to chastise her for disrespecting her.
