Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., a presidential candidate, is currently trending on Twitter. This comes after he allegedly rejected to attend tomorrow’s KBP presidential candidates forum on February 4, 2022. Herman Basbao, President of the Philippine Broadcasters Association, stated that six presidential hopefuls were invited.

Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Panfilo Lacson, Senator Manny Pacquiao, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, and Leody de Guzman are expected to attend. Marcos’ camp, on the other hand, submitted a letter saying that it would be unable to attend due to a “schedule difficulty.” The KBP conversation will be moderated by ABS-CBN journalist Karen Davila and CNN Philippines journalist Rico Hizon.

Marcos also declined to participate on “The Jessica Soho Presidential Interview” on January 22, claiming that Jessica Soho was “biased” against the Marcoses. According to media sources, the probes may solely look into the negative features of BBM. He was also meant to hold a live interview with DZBB on January 28, but he was unavailable to do so since he was in Davao and had internet connection issues. UniTeam’s virtual caravans were also passed over.
