A Reddit user shared a snapshot of a soap in the shape of a gold bar with the words “100% pure Tallano” written on its surface. The name alludes to the legend of countless gold bars allegedly hidden somewhere in the Philippines.

According to Sabonista’s Facebook page, their Tallano gold soap is a best-seller. Other varieties of soap were also available in a variety of sizes, colors, and smells at the store.

Customers of Sabonista may purchase this item now at Shopee site. On the e-commerce platform, the product is titled “Tallano Gold Soap – 24K.” Each 250-gram bar costs P499 and weighs 250 grams. The product description is similarly written in a lighter tone. “Panghugas ng kamay at pambura ng mga dark spots ng Philippine history,” as it’s stated.
