The Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz budding relationship is over. This is according to a very reliable source that brought this report to entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in “Newsko.”

It can be recalled that Rayver and Janine once confirmed their relationship to the public sometime in 2017. There were sweet photos posted both on their social media account. In addition to that, an interview from the social media writer from PEP in 2019, it said that the actor admitted their relationship with the actress and labelled it as “intense dating stage”.

However, later this pandemic situation, it seems that the sweetness of the two celebrities is no longer heard and that this could be the reason that the breakup report about them became the talk of the social media as of this week.

Entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Newsko, has something to say about this. He said that a “very reliable source” revealed to him that Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz broke up already.

The entertainment columnist noted quoting the information he got from a reliable source. “Ang alam ko, isang buwan nang hiwalay sina Janine at Rayver.” The source also clarifies that there is no third party reason on their break up. In addition, the source remarks that fans and followers and the people in the online world should not pay attention and never speculation that the actress was linking to her “Marry Me. Marry You” leading man Paulo Avelino.

The source also added that it’s not good to think and it could be unfair to drag the Kapuso singer-actress Julie Anne San Jose, the leading lady of Rayver into this matter.

“Ang alam ko, kulang sa oras para sa isa’t isa sina Janine at Rayver, kaya ang kuwento rin sa akin, mutual ‘yung decision nila na maghiwalay na lang,” explained the source. The source also was thinking that the pandemic situation is the one factor that worsen the case as they could not easily see each other and their lock-in tapings of their the projects were not also done easily.

 “So, nauwi na sa hiwalayan ‘yung relasyon nila,” the source added.

Is this just a gimmick or a sort of promotional effort?  The columnist asked. The source replied, that the actress would not allow this kind of gimmick. This was thought because both Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz have new projects.

The report prompted Jun Lalin to call someone who is closed to Janine so that he can be sure about the break up report.

“Kung isang buwan na silang hiwalay ni Rayver? Hindi ko mako-confirm ‘yung tungkol diyan, pero may nagsabi nga sa akin, hiwalay na nga raw. Ayoko rin namang mag-comment kasi hindi ako sure kung bakit sila naghiwalay,” the person close to the actress shared.
