A Mix Martial Arts fighter was arrested in a raid on a drug den by PDEA Laguna Provincial Office operatives early Thursday morning at Our Lady of Grace St., Rosario Complex here in town.

MMA fighter Jose Carlo Castillo, 27, was identified. He was joined by Ceejay Huzky Cinco, 19; Chino Dela Rama, 25; Janet Mikeila Lopez, 34; and Christopher John Arceno, 23, residents in town of Laguna.

In the report sent by PDEA Region 4A Regional Director Jigger Montallana to PDEA Director General Wilkins Villanueva, the suspects were arrested after a PDEA agent bought illegal drugs at Castillo’s house.

The suspects seized 150 grams of “kush” or high grade marijuana worth P216,000.00, drug paraphernalia and 2 cellular phones.

The suspects are now detained in the PDEA Laguna detention cell.

Cases for violation of Article II of Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being readied to be filed in court against the suspects.
