Police seized P13.6-M shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Lag-asan, Bago City, Negros Occidental

It is estimated that more than 13.6 million pesos worth of suspected shabu was recovered from the two suspects in the buy-bust operation conducted at 2 in the afternoon, March 18 in San Esteban Village, Brgy. Lag-asan, Bago City.

The suspects were identified as Rodney Bedol, 38, and Raffy Prodilla, 28, pure residents of Silay City.

In the same operation conducted by RDEU-6 led by P/Lt. Glen Soliman, the suspects seized two kilograms of suspected shabu and a motorcycle.

According to police, the suspects arrested are believed to be part of the Michael Divinagracia Drug Group.

It is known that another suspect, who was identified as Rodgie Sinaten, who used to live in Silay City but now has a house in Lag-asan, Bago City, managed to escape.

Also recovered from the possession of the suspects were two pieces machine sealed transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu both were slightly opened and wrapped with a color white masking tape and same placed inside a color black sling bag, one keypad cellular phone, one black Skydrive motorcycle color, several empty transparent plastic sachets, digital weighing scale and other non-drugs items used for repacking.
