Jake Ejercito turned to social media to ask for prayers after his father, former president Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada, was hospitalized due to COVID-19. Former senator Jinggoy Estrada also asked for prayers because his father has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Nais ko pong ipaalam sa inyo na ang aking ama , na si dating pangulong Joseph Estrada, ay isinugod namin sa ospital kagabi sa kadahilanan ng panghihina ng kanyang katawan.
Na-diagnose na po siya na positibo sa covid 19.
Stable po ang kanyang kundisyon at ako po ay humihingi ng inyong mga panalangin sa kanyang agarang paggaling. 🙏🙏🙏

The former Senator Jinggoy Estrada stated that his father experienced weakness and diarrhea which prompted them to rush him to a hospital on Sunday night.
“The doctor is also looking into pneumonia. He is now in a stable condition as compared to Sunday night,” he said.
JV Ejercito also confirmed the news, “Please pray for my father who has tested positive for COVID-19 and was rushed to the hospital. Please pray for all those who are likewise fighting this virus.
As of 4 PM, March 30, 2021, the Department of Health has recorded 9,296 additional cases of COVID-19. Meanwhile, 103 were cured and 5 died.
