Actress Liza Soberano expressed thankfulness to Baron Geisler and say sorry to those offended with her statement against the movie poster of “Tililing.”

The 23-year-old Filipina-American took to her Twitter account on Sunday. February 8, 2021 and expressed her reaction on the Tililing poster a film by Darryl Yap saying “no for her” because of her reason that mental health is not a joke.

“no”  “Mental health is NOT a joke. Stop the stigma,” she tweets.

Avid fans and supporters of the actress on Twitter expressed their support to the opinion tweeted by the actress Liza Soberano.

But on the other hand, Darryl Yap the director of the movie also took to his Facebook account and explains that people must watch first before come to judge the movie poster so that they will know why it was created of that way and he also assured the quality of the movie.

The post of the 34-year-old film director also received a massive support from his Facebook followers and some even found bashing Liza Soberano from misinterpreting the movie poster. But the most noticeable reply on the comment section was from the actor Baron Geisler who also one of the cast members of the movie. On his comment message of the actor, he was calling the attention of everyone not to bash the actress Liza Soberano for expressing her opinion to the movie poster.

“Please Don’t bash Liza. Please be kind. Sometimes we get overprotective with our advocacies. She did not mean to look down on the poster,” he said.

With his statement on the comment section, Liza was thankful to the actor for depending her against the bashers. The actress also wrote an apology message addressed to those who were offended of her.

“Thank you kuya Baron for the kind words and sorry if I have offended anyone. I’m afraid my intentions were misinterpreted. I always want the best for films that tap into mental health, so I wish this film all the best. Looking forward to seeing it,” the actress wrote in her Twitter post.
