41 Employees from Transcom Bacolod Tested Positive for COVID-19

There are 41 Transcom Bacolod employees in Barangay Tangub who tested positive for COVID-19. According to City Administrator Em Ang, their contact tracing is still ongoing.

Transcom Bacolod was guarded by the police after 41 call center agents tested positive for the covid 19-corona virus. According to a call center agent interviewed by the reporters, random swab testing was conducted on Saturday morning and this Sunday afternoon the results came out with 41 of them testing positive for COVID-19.

Two more cases quickly followed in less than 24 hours and then four more cases in the next two days, she said. “Our Monitoring and Enforcement Team visited the site on the same day [January 23] to check on compliance with health and safety protocols but were required to first submit a letter from the EOC and to undergo rapid testing before they would be allowed to go inside the premises,” Ang said.
