Magnitude 5.4 Earthquake Jolts Looc (Occidental Mindoro) on Monday, October 5, 2020

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded a 5.4 magnitude quake in Looc (Occidental Mindoro), October 5, 2020.

Most of the time, quakes hit with no prior signs. Recently, several places in and out of the Philippines were shaken by quakes of different magnitudes.

The time of impact is around 02:16:57 AM on Monday, October 5, 2020. PHIVOLCS also recorded the location of the quake, 13.73°N, 120.41°E – 017 km N 87° E of Looc (Occidental Mindoro), and the Depth of Focus (Km) is 122. There are no casualties that have been damage.
