The relatives of the viral old female PWD who was rescued under the Bidge in Manila has been arrested on September 4, Friday after a concerned netizen posted it.

The woman was rescued under McArthur Bridge in Manila after his nephew abandoned him and leave her there. One of the suspect is the woman’s nephew named Ephraim Tan Yap.

According to Yap, her aunt was been confined in the Metropolitan Medical Center for 3 weeks. After her husband died, Yap had to took care of her aunt.

Together with another suspect named Emerita Decilio, they asked for a certification from the barangay to show proof that they abandoned Tan so that, she will be accepted in the Missionary of Charity.

“Mayroon na po akong certificate sa barangay na si Mrs. Tan ay abandoned kaya kailangan tanggapin ng Missionary of Charity kasi abandoned na. Pero wala pong tumanggap sa’min, kaya desperado na po ako. Aaminin ko po iniwan ko po,” said Decilio.

Aside from Decilio and Yap, the driver of the tricycle that they rode when they left the woman will also be charge of the court.
