Japanese Silk’ Actress Sei Ashina Dies @ 36 Know the Cause of Death Here

The online world was surprised after learning the report about the Japanese actress Sei Ashina who was found dead in her Tokyo apartment on Monday, September 14, 2020.

The report was confirmed by her agency and the Tokyo police. According to the report the actress died by suicide at the age of 36.

Ashina’s dead body discovered by her brother when he made a visit to the actress apartment after several text messages and failed answered calls. According to the police report, no note found in the place of incident.

Sei Ashina started her showbiz career in 2002 on her debut in TBS drama “The Tail of Happiness” (Shiawase no Shippo).  Prior to her acting debut, Sei Ashina earned her living as a commercial model and later discovered on her acting profession. In 2007 she made her name in a movie cast as the Japanese lead in François Girard’s Silk, to portray a historical drama starring Michael Pitt and Keira Knightley as a 19th century French silkworm smuggler and his wife who journey to Japan.
