Catriona Gray Demands P10 Million and A Public Apology From Tabloid ‘Bulgar’ Over Fake Topless Photos

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray demanded P10 million settlement from the tabloid newspaper Bulgar for publishing her fake topless.

The Miss Universe legal camp also asked the tabloid for a public apology regarding the said issue.

According to Gray’s camp, the 10 Million demand to the publication is being made for the “immeasurable damage” to the beauty queen’s reputation.

Recalling, the fabricated photos of Gray were posted on the tabloid’s Facebook page on July 18, and were featured in a print article the next day. The photos shows that the beauty queen is seemingly not wearing anything for her top.

With that issue, Gray personally went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on July 21 to ask help to the authorities regarding her “fake” malicious photos that circulating in the social media, as of Rappler.

Previously, the legal camp said that they were coordinating with the authorities to hold accountable whoever edited the photo and spread it online.

According to the authorities, “We will likewise take legal action against those involved in the manufacture and publication of said photo.”

We strongly denounce this vicious attempt to tarnish the good name of Ms. Gray.”
