The ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue became a hot topic recently. The franchise renewal was rejected by 70 congressmen, while only 11 congressmen voted in favor of the renewal.

Many celebrities fought for ABS-CBN, some of them are Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, Kim Chiu, Angel Locsin and Kathryn Bernardo.

Nadine Lustre, one of the biggest ABS-CBN stars have also decided to speak up regarding the issue. She posted her thoughts on her Instagram story.

“Gaya ninyo, kapamilya din ako… natatakot ako sa mga nangyayari… nalungkot din ako para sa 11,000+ na taong nawalan ng trabaho… umiiyak ako para sa sariling bansa… dahil gaya ninyo, Pilipino din ako.” Nadine captioned.

“Kasama ako sa laban na to. Patuloy na tumutulong at nagdadasal as kabila ng pagluluksa.”

“Sana ay ibaling natin ang atensiyon natin sa mga bagay na nararapat pagtuunan ng pansin. Pakiusap, huwag tayong mag-away away at maghati. Wala na tayong oras.” she added on her IG story.
