Magnitude 3.4 Earthquake Hits Surigao City (Surigao Del Norte) on Sunday, June 7, 2020

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded that Magnitude 6.6 Earthquake hits Governor Generoso (Davao Oriental). The time of impact is around 03:59:47 AM on Sunday Morning, June 7, 2020.

PHIVOLCS also recorded the location of the quake, 09.69°N, 125.54°E – 012 km S 22° E of Surigao City (Surigao Del Norte), and the Depth of Focus (Km) is 024. There are no casualties that have been damage.

This is the usual scenario in the Philippines because we are under the Pacific Ring Of Fire where active and dormant volcanoes reside. The red dot represents the epicenter of the earthquake.
