The long period of no air travel in the country is finally comes to its end as Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) approves domestic commercial aviation in the areas under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

Previously, the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) released advisory to cancel local airlines travel routes for the reason of health precautionary measure due to COVID-19 pandemic.

But recently, Arthur Tugade of Department of Transportation announces that the IATF has just approved commercial domestic aviation in the areas under GCQ granting that the Local Government Units (LGU’s) must approve the local air travels.
