DOH Reports 21,895 COVID-19 Cases in the Philippines as of June 7, 2020

The Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) presents the #LagingHandaPH Public Briefing, an inter-agency effort of the PCOO that brings up-to-date and detailed information about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the country.

PH COVID-19 DEATH TOLL SURPASSES 1,000-MARK. DOH on Sunday reported 9 more people died from coronavirus in the country, bringing the death toll to 1,003.

According to DOH, As of 4PM today, June 07, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 21,895.

In addition to the 378 fresh cases,177 late cases were also reported today. Today’s fresh cases are based on the daily accomplishment reports submitted by only 37 out of 43 current operational labs.

DOH likewise announces 89 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 4,530.

The Government advised the public to cooperate and do not be hard-headed because you are not helping but an additional problem, please stay on your respective houses and maintain a healthy body to fight the disease.
