Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque confirmed class opening on August 24, 2020.

This video interview with Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque explained the detail about the class opening this school year 2020-2021 in response to all the concerns of the parents on their worries about their students sending to school amid coronavirus disease.

Roque explained that the opening of classes this coming August 24, 2020 will continue for both public schools and private schools in the country. He advised all parents to enroll their students because the Department of Education (DepEd) is going look alternative learning using social media platform as mode of instruction to deliver the learning to the students dubbed it as “blended learning,” Roque said to Erwin Tulfo on “Tutok Tulfo” episode yesterday.

Roque also clarifies that during the opening of classes which is expected to start on August 24, 2020, he said that there are no face-to-face classroom encounter classes while there is quarantine in the country regardless of Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ), General Community Quarantine (GCQ) or Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
