BREAKING NEWS, DepEd Sec. Leonor Briones confirms classes to resume on August 24, 2020.

Amid COVID-19 pandemic the education sector still continue to strive that classes should resume for the benefit of the literacy of the students.

In an interview via online Sec. Briones stated supposedly the start of class will be on June but it was on hold due to COVID-19 threat and will be move on August.

The delay of the reopening of the school year is upon the recommendation of IATF, Sec. Briones clarified that not all students are required their physical attendance in school especially those who have an immunocompromised like asthma and etc.

As of now the education sector is introducing some different approach to continue the learning process of every student amid the country battle for COVID-19.

These approaches are the following, online learning, take a home reading and other activities to ensure the students study on process.

DepEd is still finalizing the steps and any consideration to put the students safety prior to the star of class this August.
