ABS-CBN television and radio opera was forced to shutdown ordered by the NTC or National Telecommunications Commission on May 5. ABS-CBN signed off at 7:52 pm.

“Millions of Filipinos will lose their source of news and entertainment when ABS-CBN is ordered to go off-air on TV and radio tonight, when people need crucial and timely information as the nation deals with the COVID-19 pandemic,” ABS-CBN said in a statement past 6 pm on Tuesday.

Coco Martin, famously known for the ABS-CBN TV series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” as Cardo Dalisay, criticized the NTC and solicitor General Jose Calida.

He said to his previous post.
