A video clip allegedly showing dead bodies washed ashore near the Libyan Sea was claimed that the dead bodies are victims died of coronavirus being thrown into the sea.

In the video clip mentioned as the caption along with the is the advisory not to eat seafood as coronavirus is likely to be waterborne due to the spreading of dead bodies into the ocean.

Upon checking the source of the video, this first appeared to Dev Oza in his Twitter account with the caption. But this is a fake news because similar video was published on YouTube dated June 19, 2019 in which everyone knows that coronavirus or COVID-19 was not yet happening in the world marked as pandemic.

The post captioned that reads the following:
“Some countries throw #COVID19 infected dead bodies into the seas. Advice to stop eating seafood. The World is really coming to an end. Dear God, please intervene,” the caption read before it was deleted.

The old video posted on YouTube with the date on June 19, 2019 captioned that reads, “Mediterranean Sea Becomes A Cemetery For African Immigrants.” These African immigrants died as their boat collapse on the seashore of the Libyan Sea.

The video went viral online but this is a hoax connecting to the coronavirus pandemic.

In order to stop spreading the fake news about the video linking to pandemic, we remove it here to avoid confusion to the readers. According to report, Mediterranean is the most polluted seashore with any kind of garbage from different parts of the world.
