President Rodrigo Duterte commit to reward 50 Million pesos to Filipino scientists who can discover the vaccine to cure coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic disease.

During his national address concerning the COVID-19 issues in the country he commits to increase the reward from previous figure of 10 million to 50 million pesos considering that it is a joined effort of scientists to do the job.

During the speech of the President he also gives information to the public about the national funds to be allocated to fight against for COVID-19. He also said, if the government runs out of the budget there is a possibility to borrow money or sale government properties.
