On Friday, May 1, General Community Quarantine enforcement in Negros Occidental will start according to Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson.

Some of the rules are prohibited mass gathering, check points and social distancing will be strictly observed and implemented. Some establishments will soon operate, mass transportation will be allowed but the governor is still waiting for the directives about it. He still hasn’t decided whether citizens should still continue the use of home quarantine pass.

However, checkpoints and border control will continue, malls will remain closed and restaurants are only allowed for takeout orders.
