Joemelia Datayan, the mother of the baby shared her baby’s experience on a report on GMA News. At first, she said that they brought the baby to Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in Manila since the baby experienced diarrhea and fever.

After they were given a medical prescription, the baby was sent home however, the baby’s fever still continued. So, they returned to the hospital and the baby underwent a swab test. The baby was put in an isolation room and on April 5, the results came stating that her baby tested positive for COVID-19.

Her family went under a 14-day quarantine.

The baby is now recovering and is under a stable condition but, the baby still have to undergo a 2-week quarantine for observation.
