La Castellana town in Negros Occidental has one Covid-19 Positive Case

The Visayan Daily Star official Facebook Page releases statement that there is one Coronavirus (COVID-19) positive case according to Mayor Rhumyla Nicor-Mangilimutan. “La Castellana town in Negros Occidental has one Covid-19 positive case, its Mayor Rhumyla Nicor-Mangilimutan just confirmed.”

Recently, As of 4 PM today, April 20, 2020, the Department of Health reports 200 new cases (PH6260-PH6459) of COVID-19. The total number of cases in the country is now at 6,459. DOH also announces 41 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 613.

In Worldwide COVID-19 Tally as of April 20, 2020, there are 2,416,135 people confirmed positive of the deadly disease, 632,983 has been recovered and 165,939 deaths.

As of now, it is advised to the public to cooperate and do not be hard-headed because you are not helping but an additional problem, please stay on your respective houses and maintain a healthy body to fight the disease.

Coronavirus disease was first recorded in China where it prompted authorities to lock down Wuhan due to its outbreak. In the Philippines, local government units are now decided to enforce an enhanced community quarantine. 

Everyone is advised to stay at home to curb the spread of the disease and some selected people in one family can go out to buy some foods and needs in the house.
