Just In: 7th COVID-19 Positive Case in Bacolod City Confirmed

The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed the 7th COVID-19 Positive Case in Bacolod City as of April 3, 2020. A 48-year-old male with travel history in Los Angeles. Close contact of BCD_CC#5 started to develop symptoms on March 25, 2020. The OPD consult & swab done last March 29, 2020. The patient is not admitted, though with a cough but is stable. 

According to Dr. Grace Tan, spokesperson sang Bacolod-IATF, two other household members are asymptomatic but testing has been done April 2, 2020. 

Recently, Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran is calling the attention of the 57 Person Under Monitoring (PUM) to come to the City Health Office. If they did not come on Sunday, the Vice Mayor will mention their names and will share on social networking sites such as Facebook.

Bacolod Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID-19 advised that the lost to follow-up PUM must coordinate with the BHERTS so that health authorities can monitor the progress of their health condition. 

As of April 4, 2020 morning (3:30 am), DOH recorded a total of 3, 018 confirmed cases in the Philippines, with 136 death and 52 recovered.  

Worldwide tally, there are 1,076,017 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 225,335 recovered and 58,004 death.
